Right, we recommend Ubuntu-LTS, unless a different distro is specifically requested. We did update the employee workstation here from 7.10 to 8.04 without incident, but i'm still a little gun-shy about distro Upgrade. Sure, we can work around any snags that may occur, but non-techie users may not.
