Ack! I have to disagree. Yes... there are plenty of WM apps... but the platform is just stupid, and you're still suck with the same crap UI, unless you buy something cool like SPB Mobile Shell.
I am so done with WM. I've had so many iterations of phones running it and they all suck. Funny, but the only real stable phones I've used were the old Palm treo 650's (non WM version) and pretty much any of the blackberries. Can't stand using BB because they leave much to be desired for applications. While I would hate to move to the iPhone simply because of AT&T (and I don't want to hassle with jail breaking it), it is the clear leader in available apps and UI. So I'll probably fork over some cash... try out the Pre. There's a few apps now, but it looks like there's a built in Palm emulator. There's a ton of palm apps, including SSH clients and VPN clients. -- Gilbert Mendoza PGP: 0x7403B303 Email: gmendoza at gmail.com http://www.savvyadmin.com https://launchpad.net/~gmendoza https://wiki.ubuntu.com/GilbertMendoza On Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 2:39 PM, Dino K<[email protected]> wrote: > iphone Way ahead?
