I disagree on the BB and applications... so far everything I needed there were at least a couple choices on the BB, and with the Enterprise Server, connecting to an Exchange Server works just as good as any WM phone.
Of course you don't have all the frills and availability of an crapple store, but then again, I use the phone not only for callling, but for basic stuff like email, calendar, contacts, texting, twitter, etc. RDP works fine too, although screen size kills it. Have no need for SSH. VPN works fine. I think that availability of apps comes after having a stable platform. WM has a bunch of stuff, it's easy to use, but terrible in stability. BB has good interface, it's stable (as long as you stay away from the Storm) and has a bunch of apps. Crapple is just out of the question, not only by carrier choice (I'm on Verizon) but also for undisclosed but well known reasons.
