It was a major FAIL for apple not to include cut and paste on the
iphone. No excuse is good enough to give them a pass on that
incredible act of stupidity nor to wait as long as they did to include
it. To be fair, the iphone has not been out as long as windows mobile
phones, which in no way gives them a pass on the cut and paste
dilemma. Most of the apps for the apple phone are stupid, but that is
what most people want. What is really stupid is how hard it is to
develop iphone apps when you are on Linux or Windows.

If I have ssh, I have no need for VPN. I would be surprised if
getting ssh to work on the iphone or on the G1 is hard, even if there
isn't an app for it.

IMO the G1 would be the best phone if it didn't only work on
t-mobile's 3g network. I would have a G1 if it worked with AT&T.
There are suppose to be more android phones coming out, but that never
happens as soon as one would hope. I pick the G1 over ANYTHING that
runs Windows Mobile, regardless of carrier, "for undisclosed but well
known reasons". Dropped calls are relative to location and carrier
IMO.

The OpenMoko is the phone that I really want to try out. The fact
that it doesn't have a camera kinda pisses me off. It also has no 3g,
another semi deal breaker. Future generations of the phone will
include these options.
