How come you overpaid?

I'm seriously considering Clearwire's portable hot-spot, month-to-month at $55
(unlimited 4G, 5GB/mo at 3G, same footprint as Sprint). Requires purchase of
the device at $225, or two year contract, but unlimited 4G, and 3G where 4G
isn't available means two things to me:

1) I no longer need home Internet service

2) I can use it in more places

Going to figure out the best deal, Sprint or ClearWire.
