This is one of those "you get what you pay for" situations (aren't most?).
Lyris is:
1) high performance
2) highly functional (many unique features)
3) extremely low maintenence
4) reliable
Majordomo/Sendmail gets you #1 and #4; LISTSERV gets you #1, #2, and #4;
other packages get you other combinations, but Lyris is the only one I've
found that combines them all and does it well. I couldn't believe how much
time I saved immediately after switching to Lyris.
