Clarification: I'm talking about users in general, not specifically
the ones on any mailing lists that I run.  And even on technical
mailing lists where one would expect simple, basic knowledge of
network fundamentals (e.g. Sun-Managers) misdirected subscription
requests show up on a weekly basis.  It's amazing.
