The new Majordomo 2 software has the ability to cycle through
a number of different headers and footers. I found when the blurb
is always the same people stop reading it. Put them in with
different numbers of lines, some URLs and some mailtos, and the
subscribers tend not to glaze over. I even put "Tip #1", "Tip #2"
next to them, so they'd notice when a new tip shows up. Works for me!
(and don't forget to FREQUENTLY include the address where commands
should be sent, because that's the first thing they forget)
