I don't find that at all. I've done filters in procmail, Eudora, and OE, and
I invariably find that there's a reliable tag in a Received: or X-whatever:
header that I can easily use to identify list mail and sort it into separate
mailboxes.
Although I've put list tags on some of my older lists, I don't do it any more
because after a couple of replies with slightly broken quoting, copies of the
tag start squeezing out the useful part of the subject, e.g.
Subject: Re: [foolist] Re: [foolis List tags, was [fooli Re: six hundred
