Well, listar will shortly support this as a per-user option, but yes, it
is semi-expensive in terms of time spent processing the list (although
that time can be reduced by sorting the list on this criteria) (would
let you get away with sending two messages instead of one). Listar will
probably take this tack in dealing with this issue. (note, this is a
future feature, not a current one with listar).
