As far as "what's the
difference between ASP and CF" please look back through the logs, as we've
had this conversation so many times. Concerning which language to learn, it
depends what you want to do, where you want to work... For me, it made more
sense to learn C# and ASP, because I'd never use Java all that much. Who
knows though, Java may be best for you in your situation. Now, if you really want to learn something
that I see as important, learn how to be the DADDY with ArcIMS
or one of the other GIS packages. There's lots
of money and lots of growth in that area. I've learned ArcIMS over the last year see endless opportunities... Ferg -----Original Message----- Good Morning Everyone, I
have a non-coding related question for the group. What is the difference
between coding in ASP and CF? ASP seems to be a very complex (though powerful)
language while Cold Fusion seems to be able to do the same things with simpler
code. Yet the majority of sites I see are in ASP. I am about to start
schooling to pick up another language and I am leaning towards JAVA but am not
sure if it would also be in my best interest to learn ASP as well. Thanks, Justin Knowlton SBC Communications -- LSC
