Ahh... well that's the same pattern everywhere for hobby shops. Goodbye hobby, hello collectibles. > > > US? Ha! > > Well... I just don't think it's safe to jump to conclusion that the gross size of US gunpla market is smaller than HK. Indeed gunpla is way way down in the noise level in the US, but that's still 280mil population. Between HLJ/HS orders, US-based e-tailers, Chinatowns, anime/import shops and even people who physically fly to JP/HK to buy kits, you can probably scrape together enough gunpla fans to match HK. Still... you can justify your "Ha!" to the "US?" The fans are spread way too thin and can't sustain even a single specialty magazine like Newtype USA or Tamiya Model Mag. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
