It's quite probable that Tomino had MS Igloo in mind. Notice the question was on "expansion", which changed into "disintergation" when Tomino responded. He kept talking about children in the interview, Tomino is not known for making animations for adults; all of his Gundams, except for CCA, featured kids as main characters.
