I agree; as a matter of fact, I also preferred watching the DVDs with
the dubbed track on because they added nice "ambient" sounds (i.e.,
sounds of power tools and distant talking in the Arghama's hangar
deck) to the English audio track - instead of the sparse SFX that
accompanied the dialog and BGM on the original Japanese audio track -
that just gave the show a much better feeling, IMO.
