Great idea.

To kick things off... MotM for Jan '07 are:

MG Cross Bone Gundam X-1 Full Cross
HGUC GM Quel
HG BuCUE
UCHG Hovertruck with 08MST figures

I like the hovertruck, but I can't see myself buying it unless I found it on sale.

and related non-Gundam:
Dororo Robo (Keroro)

I consider Keroro Gunso to be gundam spinoff. The Sgt. need to build himself a custom gunpra that ends up being made into a real kit, kind of like the Perfect Gundam.

EX Cosmo Zero (Yamato)
Xabungle (re-release of full range of models)

Comments on them:
MG Cross Bone Gundam X-1 Full Cross
Impressive looking, but was there a back story prior to the model? A
quick check at MAHQ doesn't show an entry.

I think this one must have shown up in one of the new Crossbone manga from Gundam Ace. Interesting that this isn't billed as a ver.Ka even though it is merely add on parts to the original ver.Ka Crossbone.

HGUC GM Quel
Nice looking... Bandai Hobby's write-up actually emphasizes that this
mold "reproduces proportion on the popular AOZ line" Effectively
making AOZ more canonical than 0083. Will there be some deadhards who
will re-mod this kit to be more consistent with the earlier HGUC
Mk-II's?

Bah, AOZ does nothing for me. I can't believe its still going on. Its a longer and denser model series than even Sentinel at this point. Is there even a hint of an eventual end?

HG BuCUE
Roff!

EX Cosmo Zero
Is Bandai sending a shot across Hasegawa's bow? This could be FUN!

Yes, I like! This really does seem like it would be more up Hasegawa's alley. In fact, I think I would have preferred it had been a Hasegawa release. They do better box art.
