Yes, the "pre-US Zeta release" English rendition of his name.  I remember speculation on this list over how that would be handled by Bandai when Zeta was finally released over here.

It has been worse. The Char's Counter Attack game for the PlayStation let
you play as Char in various stages of his career. The most outrageous was
Quattro Vagina from Zeta Gundam...
