This is peripheral matter, only interesting as a matter of
history. Most of us were there and recall what happened. I won't
rehash the matter, other than note that some employees resign and
others take early retirement rather than be fired. So it was with
the Domain Rights Coalition.
The point remains that there are significant associations which
are worthy of membership in an "entity defined" constituency, but,
like Roeland's Cajun cousins, lack birth certificates (or
corporate charters) to establish their bona fides.
