I'm surprised to find myself taking the side of Bill Lovell, but he's spot
on, here. How many people, thinking to invest money starting a web business,
have been deterred from doing so by the fear that, after having built up
their business, their domain name will be taken away? The worst thing about
all these doamin name disputes may be the bad publicity they're causing.
Soon, only those with the resources to hire lawyers and defend their names
in court will even consider starting a web business, and the whole amazing
adventure of the Internet will sink and die.

Isn't it way too soon in the high-tech revolution to stop free trade? What's
the use of Congress passing a bill to keep Net business un-taxed, if only
wealthy people can think of engaging in e-commerce?
