Can we cut the confrontation tone please Michael?
I did not say I was opposed to public review, what I indicated was that if
anyone here is suffering under the illusion that we will see a groundswell of
membership by at large internet users, we will be disappointed. If Ripe can't
even get half of the ccTLD managers to participate, who have an even greater
interest in these proceedings, what makes you think end users will be fighting
their way to the doors?
Provide for an at large membership, by all means, but don't get your hopes up
that it will be a large public membership, Michael, you'll only disappoint
yourself.
We have to instead look at REAL numbers of likelihood and plan for them, and
take into accounts the effects they will have.
That was the point of this thread in the first place.
So dispite your diatribe above saying me and Mr Lovell are against public
review and against internet users, I am NOT telling any lies.
I stated nothing but facts and made some interpretations based on this facts.
Please point out ONE lie I told.
You accuse me of "self serving lies" in your first comment. I put forth that
such a statement made about another person MUCH be backed up by fact, or
withdrawn with an apology. I demand one of you now again, and in my opinion Mr
Lovell is also entitled to one, but he can speak for himself (quite ably I
might add).
We need to stop this confrontation attacking, and get down to actual work, and
your tones and attacks go totally against that.
Especially when you falsely accuse others as you have taken to doing of late.
I will await a public retraction and apology for your accusation of telling
any lies.
It will say plenty about your character if one comes quickly, or not at all.
The judgement will be one for others to make, however.
