I have to take issue with the good doctor's statement. In order to do
that I have to deal with the substance (much easier than finding some
subjective test of whether I am a whiner). The substance requries
specifics on each one. I will bore the list with only one teeny tiny
example, but rest assured there are problems with the process for all
of others and the problems are all well documented. This one is just
easier to demonstrate in less than 1k of e-mail.

DRAFT CONFLICT OF INTEREST
* The draft Conflict-of-interest guidelines came out on the 17th of
February.
* there was no mention of a comment period deadline for it.
* even without the reminder, the document was only available for
(at most) 7 days, and this only for people who regularly check the
website.

7 days to comment on something as fundamental as conflict-of-interest?

If this is whining, then I suppose you can call me a whiner. But I
would much prefer a discussion on the substance than personal attacks.

BTW, if there was much hoopla or tons of e-mail on the draft
conflict-of-ineterest policy I must have missed it. On, the others
certainly. But the process involved in each has other failures (which
have all been discussed and account in part for those terabytes of
mail).
