The root version of index.cfm seems to work fine, but the links are not working on my machine as they do on the working site. Even when I type in a path, such as http://localhost/somedirectory/somefile.cfm, the actual file that shows up in the browser is http://localhost/index.cfm. The URL in the address bar is the same thing I typed in. Anyone know what is going on here and what I need to do to correct it? I feel like a graduate student asking how to add 2+2, but I am baffled as to what is happening. Any help will be appreciated, and don’t feel bad about talking down to me because I certainly deserve it.
