FileExists("path to image here") function works great.

I want to take this to AIR, but I'll be checking a remote server for
the image so the fileExists works great, but I really need to think it
through.
It's an "employee" look up so I'll need to store data locally in case
I'm off line (for AIR).
I have some reading to do.

The only other thing I could suggest is trying to use the httpStatus event
of the image to detect a 404 status code
and change the image source to your silhouette image accordingly. This is
kind of dirty in my opinion though because you are hitting up the server for
items you don't know exist only to hit it up again.
