ya, I saw that awhile back. AIR opens up lots and lots of things.. I
have stuff in the works that is pretty cool.

Have you seen he ebay demo using AIR? They go through all the stuff
you need to do to auction an item offline. then they plug into a
network and it's uploaded to ebay and the auction went live. pretty
sweet.
