Nothing to see here....  This is hardly the first, nor will it be the last
of these articles.  I have seen them off and on for the past 8 years, and
ColdFusion has had tremendous growth in that time.

@Walt - There was some early criticism that has persisted due IMO to the
fact that ColdFusion is easy to learn.  You would think that was a good
thing, and it is to some degree, but the negative is that it is easy to
write very bad applications!  I think that there were a number of poorly
written applications early on that helped create a perception that
ColdFusion applications are not very scalable and do not perform well under
load, etc.   I think that is also coupled with the fact that programmers by
and large are elitists at heart.  If some noob can pick up a programming
language and start writing immediately, it has to suck!
