Sounds great, and I also think it's the right time for this step. I would propose to also remove /plugins and /webmail from v0.2 /scripts is also outdated now that we use Grunt.
How about removing the builds from the tree and provide them via: https://github.com/openpgpjs/openpgpjs/releases ?
