Hi Rebol HQ, as sexy as Rebol/View is and sounds I would like to see your
resources spend on the Rebol/Core side... there are still some things to do
there to make it work for real-world-applications of some size. Having a
stable basement and efficient Rebol/Core is much more worth than having all
those "half-done" stuff (don't get me wrong Rebol is great but I need to
poke at you ;-)).
Java failed with the GUI stuff mostly and it's very tricky to handle all
the platform things... anyway, I would highly like to see progress on
Rebol/Core and highest priority on Rebol/Command. Rebol/View will be a nice
toy in the beginning but Rebol/Core/Command is a very powerful combination
today which can be used to solve problems... for these problems I don't
need a GUI at all but a stable scripting-language.
I hope there are others here on the list who think the same way and I would
like to ask you to vote for this too.
