Shaz, since you've encountered this noise yourself, I'm tempted to open my
303 up again sometime soon and make a bit more effort to eliminate it.
Especially since I've got another one sitting here to compare with.

btw .. I would NEVER open up any of my equipment.
That's like performing open heart surgery on the one you love. ;)
I just buy the best condition stuff and treat it with maximum respect and
link it up to replacable equipment that can be bashed to pieces.
