Hey Shaz,
My 303 doen't sound like that unless I run it some some disortion, (or
naturally overdrive it) I am refering to the actual sound of your 303s
notes, (not the siren/noise before) As the 303 is meant to be pluged into
a guitar or bass amplifier, (or line-in on a good mixer). I think it may
possibly be the way you're connecting to your computer. Have you tried
going from the "headphones" out of the 303 to your computer ?? The 303s
output is mono, while the headphones is obviously stereo output. I have
never connected my 303 directly to my computer, so I am not sure what is the
best way to do that. If you have a mixer, have you tried to run your 303
through that, then to your computer. Also, if you haven't tried already,
try plugging your computer speakers directly to your 303 using the 303s
headphones out, see if you get the same sound. Let us know if you figure it
out, now I am curious ???
