My 303 doen't sound like that unless I run it some some disortion, (or
naturally overdrive it)  I am refering to the actual sound of your 303s
notes, (not the siren/noise before)

oh i have it distorted and overdrived using a boss os-2 pedal,
i bought it today. its only that it started to get me even more curious now
than before as its more noticable. So i thought I'd get to the bottom of it
before i go to "La La Land" ;-)

As the 303 is meant to be pluged into
a guitar or bass amplifier, (or line-in on a good mixer).   I think it may possibly be the way you're connecting to your computer.  Have you tried going from the "headphones" out of the 303 to your computer ??

yeah just tried that, its the same thing

Also, if you haven't tried already,
try plugging your computer speakers directly to your 303 using the 303s
headphones out, see if you get the same sound.  Let us know if you figure it
out, now I am curious ???

i just did that too, it's a lot less noticable but it's definetly there!
also if i use headphones its a lot less noticable too but if i squash the headphones
hard onto my ears i can hear it.

ok so i won't be using heaphones unless it's kinky 303'ing in bed.... most of the time
my silver dream is going to be amped so its just concerned me.

But i did learn one thing though ..... in another room I have a crappy old Pioneer Hifi
and I had my 303 plugged into the MIC port of that. And a friend said that I should NEVER connect it to MIC and should only connect it to Line IN.

anyway...thanks for ure advice..i'll look out for what others say too.

Cya,
Shaz
