Are owners still owners without being members?
Yes. Mailman will only disable your subscription but you'll still be the
list owner.
If the list owner is bouncing, they will need to be removed manually. So
far I've only removed one list owner for bouncing[1] since I knew their
@wikimedia.org address was disabled.
