Hi,
Those of you in Australia will know about the upcoming census. This
year they've finally opted to allow the census to be completed online,
and I noticed they've made a few claims about web accessibility [1].
I found the eCensus web site [2] and noticed that instead of making one
form, which is usable by everyone, they've opted to create 2 separate
forms. One accessible, the other inaccessible. :-)
I haven't reviewed the entire form yet (I won't be able to get past the
login till I get a form number), but just based on the login form, they
appear to have used <label>s in the accessible version, and omitted them
from the inaccessible version. It'll be interesting to see what other
silly things they've done with the rest of the pages.
