Have you tried fetching the mailbox list manually? In the FAQ, under this 
question:

Q: How can I check that Binc IMAP is set up correctly? 

There are some guidelines so you can check wether it's Binc or Mozilla 
that causes the problem. Notice the "LSUB" and "LIST" commands. Please 
post the output of these commands to this list, and I will be closer to 
telling where the problem lies. :-)
