Initially, I planned the tool for my father, to easy update his laptop without
malware (he had every toolbar from this planet installed)... ConfigMgr and
OneGet integration came in a later stage...

So if you have Wishes, Ideas, Feedback... please let me know (or place the
feedback on http://ruckzuck.codeplex.com/ ). Every contributor of new
Applications or constructive feedback will get access to all the metadata of
the Applications ( Installation parameters, download sources etc. ).

Subject: RE: [mssms] Update Catalog for SCUP

Think it's pretty new... saw it on Twitter the other day. Always wanted to do
something like that since SMS 2003 days when ITMU came out. Then when SCUP came
out it was close.

We never got the funding to dev the solution though, but should hook up with
the RuckZuck people and give them my braindump. :)

Roger is it your stuff?

A Solution for free: http://ruckzuck.tools/. Ok, it's not for SCUP but for
ConfigMgr. The Tool will create Applications in CM12:

... and everyone is welcome to extend and maintain the current Catalog...

Hey all,

I'm looking for recommendations for an update catalog provider for SCUP/SCCM.
I have about 19,000 active clients and I'm tired of patching 3rd party apps via
full app deployments. I'd love to hear about any experience or suggestions any
of you have.
