That looks pretty nifty! Love the name too - catchy as heck :) From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Roger Zander Sent: 10 July 2015 12:03 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] Update Catalog for SCUP
Initially, I planned the tool for my father, to easy update his laptop without malware (he had every toolbar from this planet installed)... ConfigMgr and OneGet integration came in a later stage... So if you have Wishes, Ideas, Feedback... please let me know (or place the feedback on http://ruckzuck.codeplex.com/ ). Every contributor of new Applications or constructive feedback will get access to all the metadata of the Applications ( Installation parameters, download sources etc. ). Always wanted to do something like that since SMS 2003 days when ITMU came out. Then when SCUP came out it was close. We never got the funding to dev the solution though, but should hook up with the RuckZuck people and give them my braindump. :) Roger is it your stuff? //Andreas From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mawdsley R. Ok, it's not for SCUP but for ConfigMgr. The Tool will create Applications in CM12: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/rzander/archive/2015/04/07/import-ruckzuck-applications-to-configuration-manager-2012.aspx ... and everyone is welcome to extend and maintain the current Catalog... I have about 19,000 active clients and I'm tired of patching 3rd party apps via full app deployments. I'd love to hear about any experience or suggestions any of you have. Kenneth Merenda
