The sysprep logs show no errors. The smsts log (on the C drive) stops when the PC reboots and everything is good there. I can’t get a log from when it’s booted to PE. I can browse to it in command line, but can’t open it since it’s in use. The PC just turns off, so it doesn’t fail to the point I can even get to the log. What I do is build up a Win7 VM and once it is all complete I boot off of a capture disc made in SCCM. Once it autoruns I put in file name, locations and what not and hit go. Looks like it wants to start scanning the hard drive once it gets to PE but no progress is show and eventually just reboots.

I can’t capture any images. It syspreps and boots into PE and sits a bit and then reboots without capturing anything. I have a 1kb file in the share and a PC that boots back up to a OOB experience. Anyone come across something like this? I don’t use a build and capture TS, I build it by hand and then go to capture. Help! --John
