I believe that motor is a standard ADC short 6.7 with a little difference in the windings from an A89/A00?
I spent a fair amount of time reading through EVDL archives and found similar info but I have to admit that motors are magic to me.
At 72V the only way you're going to put the motor in danger is by running it with no load. Gearing will come down to what speed it can pull and how fast you want to get there.
