There are small PB batteries that can put out high current (800 amps) by Enersys in 13 and 16 AH varieties. They are used in EV drag vehicles. At 120V and 16AH that is less than a 2KWH pack, using a typical 120WH/M and only discharging 80% you are looking at 12 or 13 miles range and an expensive battery pack and electronics. If its for a motorcycle the value play is at 48-72V. -Garret john fisher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Here's a noob question:
It appears that it may be valuable for me to run a motor at 120V, more or less, yet the ultralight vehicle I am researching can't carry 10 Pba reg-size batteries. Are there smaller lighter Pbas, like gel cells for instance, that will handle the deep-discharge demands of an EV? Other than Lithiums, is there another option? Just trying to figure out which options to consider... thanks John --------------------------------- Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Yahoo!
