a good point, this. if the wheels don't spin freely, and I mean the front should go several revolutions after a push, check for dragging brakes and wrongly-tightened fork-pinch or axle bolts and so forth. Its easy to squeeze the front wheel and tweak the forks just enough to bind the axle slightly. or dry or just-plain-worn-out bearings...
