Ok, I tried to put the monitor code on EMdash, but couldn't figure out how or where to upload it.

In the meantime you can get it here:

http://mysite.verizon.net/swsawtelle/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/atx_monitor.zip

This has a PDF with the Alltrax ATX commands, another describing my software, and then the software source and executable.

If anyone has a chance to try it out please let me know the good, the bad, and the ugly.

A couple things I need to do:
1. Make the logging interval exactly 1 sec. It's a little longer right now, since I'm not really timing it the right way. 2. Add a data filter. I don't know if this is really needed as I don't have a good running EM to test it on. It could be a simple low pass filter to make the data changes a bit smoother, and/or a median filter which tends to eliminate oddball data spikes that may occur.

Again, it looks like there are emulators and/or simulators for a variety of platforms. I believe the emulator (PC and MAC) will actually use the serial port and should be therefor be fully functional. I don't know about the simulators.
