Is this a custom form (InfoPath) or a custom list field?
Easiest method is to lock down the library itself to an approved group. Problem: Anyone can open the form and approve the job using someone else's name. Example: I open a task, click the radio button approve, and put in the resource field my manager's name. How do I 'lock' down that radio button so the person who has selected the approve radio button is the person whose name appears as the person who approved it?
