i am jumping in on the middle of this conversation, so forgive me if this has been mentioned before. my high school students LOVE when I read-aloud to them. unfortunately, i haven't had a lot of time lately, because we are preparing for FCAT. I took a break today and read to them while they visualized, questioned aloud, and made predictions. they loved it! oh, btw...i read "Cloudy, with a chance of meatballs". It is a great book to practice many reading strategies. :) *\l/**\l/**\l/*Lynn*\l/**\l/**\l/* M.Ed. Reading Education/Doctoral Student
