I use a lot of Words, Words, Words stuff. I liked the degree of vocab... kids take a cluster of words that are close in meaning... big... large...huge... tremendous.... enormous... gigantic ... prodigous.. monstrous... and then they have to put them into an array. The word here was prodigous, and it was our plan to take these arrays and post them in the halls ... leading kids along to evolving refinded meaning. We never got the posting in the halls done, but they seem to learn them when working with an array. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 6:25 PM Subject: [LIT] Vocab. lists
