I had 20 of the series and they're all missing now. :)
Hidden Talents and its sequel also work with lower readers- and they're funny 
with a touch of suspence.

The Bluford series is a guaranteed winner.  The kids love them, and they 
are very low cost if you order them from the Townsend Press website.  The only 
problem is that they disappear because the kids can't put them down. 

If you were looking for a novel for groups ow whole class instruction, The 
Cay is simple but holds their attention.
