I don't know if this is the 'logical solution' since in many countries
(I'm thinking specifically of Mexico and other central/south American
countries) if you have ammunition it is the same offense as if you had
an actual firearm.  So in the end you would have to find somewhere to
hide your ammunition.  If you are going to do that the 'logical
solution' would be to simply hide both the ammo and the metal piece that
shoots it.  since either way, if you get busted you're going to jail.
