I was given a wind generator (the model and make escape me now) from a Valiant 40 that had been around the world and was preparing to depart to Mexico. The guy said it still worked well, but could probably use a rebuild. He suggested taking it to a shop that rebuilds alternators and starter motors and they should be able to do a rebuild. Anybody ever try this?
