I tried some generic Foodsaver bag material. It didn't work nearly as well as the name brand stuff. I have NOT tried ZipLocs, but based on what I have done I suspect their melting point is too low. You can get a pretty good price on Foodsaver rolls at Walmart and (sometimes) Costco. I suspect (although have not compared) that the price on a roll of Foodsaver material is lower than an equivalent amount of ZipLoc bags. sail fast, dave S/V Auspicious _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
