They do make models with thermostatic oven controls, so you set the temp to say
300F and it goes there. I just have a burner control like the stove top
high-low, and a meat thermometer stuck in the front of the oven.

Wife read your statement, after I called her over to read. We have had three
boats with Force 10 ranges and never had anything burn, nor problems with 350
deg bake....she suggests something definitely wrong with your particular unit
or something is missing...eg heat reflector, OR you have two many sundowners
while waiting for dinner to bake and it burned..
