Oh go ahead and cheer me up :-) The only units that will fit are the 
Entec and a Fisher Panda. I've heard from a couple of disgruntled FP 
owners too. Seems the little Farymann diesels which seem to be common to 
all small gennys may be an issue.

I hope I have better luck than you did. I've talked to a couple of Entec 
owners (references from Entec) who thought they were little jewels. One 
guy claimed over 5000 hours with no down time other than maintenance.

My ideal would be NO genny. However, it is conceivable that I MAY want 
to run  AC while on the hook and I'm sure there will be times when there 
is not enough sun for my solar panels to keep the batteries toped up.

You pay your money, and you take your chances.
