Really nice analysis and follow-through, Norm; great job. I hope you've
CC'd the KISS people on this - whether they display any actual interest
in your write-up would be a great diagnostic measure of how much they
care about building a quality product.

On a similar issue of quality, and with regard to the Nature's Head
writeup that I mentioned here quite a while ago, NH has proven to be an
absolutely top-notch company that does indeed care about the quality of
their product. Not only did the owner of the company write a detailed
answer/rebuttal to my original critique (anyone interested in the
exchange, please see http://okopnik.com/head.html), they actually
offered to send us a replacement unit, at their own cost - they've made
a few improvements that should help with the issues we've had. As it
happens, one of their dealers is in Oriental, NC, where we happen to be
anchored at the moment, and his wife is driving down to the docks
tomorrow to exchange our unit for the new one. That's what I'd call
excellent customer service.
