Lew, you make valid points regarding their missionary zeal and it's possible impact on their decision to 'go it alone'.
But the reality is (at least from everything I've ever read on the subject) that the absolutely only thing these scumb*gs are interested in is money. They could care less what deity you worship or not. If it the hijacking doesn't promise a good "payday" then it's not worth it.
